ARTEMA mobile is a portable payment terminal for online payment transactions at any location. The terminal communicates with the network carrier host in GSM standard, therefore granting sales personnel extreme mobility e.g. in markets or delivery service sectors. Robust, ergonomic and powerful to the first degree, ARTEMA mobile is ideal for portable applications for nigh on all electronic payment transactions.

FEATURES

ARTEMA mobile has an integrated reader for chip and magnetic stripe cards. The built-in, high performance printer is distinguished by high speed and low noise. The easy-to-load paper roll and simple battery pack replacement round off sophisticated ergonomics and user convenience. Equipped with two powerful, 32-bit RISC processors for terminal and PINPad, ARTEMA mobile guarantees high speed payment transaction processing. Communication between the terminal and the network carrier host is in digital GSM standard. ARTEMA mobile is designed for dual band operation and is therefore compatible with D1, D2, E-Plus and O networks. In addition, the terminal functions as a telephone, sends and receives SMS messages or emails permitting, for example, access to fleet management or goods processing systems online. The optional high-performance PINPad fulfils all the criteria for the latest security requirements and is OPT compatible. All PIN-based ec-card payment transactions with payment guarantee, such as ec-cash or ec-cash chip, are supported as well as credit, e-purse or proprietary card processing.

The terminal has a multifunctional interface permitting extras such as an external antenna for passenger cars or a bar code detector in addition to the head set and charging cable.
